    I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT PINNING THE MITER JOINT.  GREAT IDEA!

    like owswitch, I would have been having a panic attack about what to do with the glue squeeze out on the pre-stained wood at the bottom of the cabinet!  Also, I would expect that trying to pin the mitered joint where you did that the pin would go right through the thin part of the top miter and bury itself in the bottom since there is no head to “slow” it down as it goes.

    Being fairly new to wood working, I found this to be very helpful. I’ve seen these pin nailers at model railroad shows and I can see how this would be a great tool to add to my shop. Excellent video presentation.
